[This post is part 12 of RESOUND 2011]

Imagine you will completely lose your memory of 2011 in five minutes. Set an alarm for five minutes and capture the things you most want to remember about 2011.

Cairns. The humidity, the heat. The beauty of the surroundings. Being in the water with the fish every day.

Staying in the German embassy in Bangkok.

Indonesia, Gili T. Returning. Being with good old friends. The fun, the chats, the diving. Teaching my friend and partner to breathe underwater. The scenery. The sunsets. The friendliness of the locals and my Indo friends.

The two-day boat trip down the Mekong in Laos.

Coming home after a long time abroad, spending time with the family and old friends.

Going out to the Berghain club in Berlin on a Sunday afternoon. Getting trashed, having a ball.

Hanging out by the Spree river and drinking beer outside in parks.

The days I made decisions about my life and my future.

Spending time with good old friends in Vienna. Feeling like coming home.

(Just saying, but my current job didn't come up once in those five minutes.)
