You guys should all know by now that I live a pretty minimalist lifestyle, one that gives me a lot of joy and meaning in all areas of life.
Naturally, I’m drawn to other minimalists. One website that has stuck with me every since I got into blogging last summer was The Minimalists, run by Ryan Nicodemus and Joshua Milburn. They managed to verbalize all the things that minimalism was and is to me in a way that none of the other minimalist bloggers could.
I’m not surprised that their blog has grown like crazy – to over 100,000 monthly readers. They have also been featured on lots of big media outlets, like the Wall Street Journal, NBC, FOX, NPR. Massive, ey? I thought so. Which is why I am happy to have them as part of my interview series here on A Life of Blue.
Ryan and Joshua also recently published a great e-book called Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life, which I really enjoyed reading even as a more seasoned minimalist.
In the interview, Ryan and I discussed:
- their new book, the writing process and their book tour
- the 5 dimensions of a meaningful life
- why so many people reach a very unhappy state before they turn to minimalism
- how to get started as a minimalist
- …and lots more!
Enjoy the interview I had with Ryan the other day:
