How to Create a Minimalist Business and Live Anywhere with Ev Bogue

Ev Bogue is not your usual blogger and digital nomad. He’s actually a rather unconventional personality in the online sphere. Best reason ever to get him to be part of my interview series.

Ev lives and works from anywhere in the world and owns only a few things that pack up in a little backpack. He writes to inboxes and recently published a completely re-worked edition of Minimalist Business, an ebook he originally wrote a couple years ago, in which you can learn how to be location independent and make a living from anywhere.

From his Google+ About page:

“I’m interested in doing things that scare me. I grow and find purpose when I’m living in an uncertain world. When everyone is usually heading away from challenging things, I tend to head towards them.”

What exactly does he do other than talk about what he does in a non-specific way using lots of cliche?

    • James Dobso says:

He does nothing. Literally. And his minimal business failed. If you look him up now, you’ll see he’s asking for donations, an apartment and even a computer.

    Hi all,
and thanks Conny for the interview.

The interview was good and definitely true.

But i still struggle for a while with the topic that internet min. business in the USA / Northamerica is still very different to our biz. The German speaking business. In the way how people think and act and buy. I´m not 100% sure but i would say many sellings things don´t work in middle Europe. Sure few also make there good money. But not that much like in the USA. But i still looking for the different proof. Henry Ford says a very good sentence: ” Es gibt mehr Leute, die kapitulieren, als solche, die scheitern” ……

    • Conni says:

Many people think that online biz works different in Europe than in the States. And it probably does, but the basics remain the same. I still believe that we are always a few years behind the States, so getting onto the bandwagon now might pay off very soon.

However, one reason why I’m writing my blog in English, is because the blogosphere and online biz world in Germany is not as developed. But I’m more and more considering opening up this blog in German as well…
